What’s new with the POCO M6 Plus?

This fresh addition to the POCO lineup slots in between the existing POCO M6 and POCO M6 Pro. Sporting a 6.79-inch display, it mirrors the size of the M6 Pro’s screen but surpasses the M6’s 6.74-inch panel. The refresh rate sees a significant leap from 90Hz to a smooth 120Hz.

Under the hood, the POCO M6 Plus is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE (Accelerated Edition) chipset, a notable upgrade from the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 found in the M6 Pro and the Dimensity 6100+ SoC of the standard POCO M6. For memory, users now have the option of 8GB RAM, a step up from the 4GB and 6GB configurations available with its predecessors.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the shift from the 50MP camera on the M6 and M6 Pro to an impressive 108MP shooter, promising crisper, more detailed images. The front-facing camera also gets a boost, upgrading to a 13MP sensor for selfies and video calls, up from the 5MP and 8MP sensors on the previous models. Additionally, the battery capacity has been increased to 5030mAh from the earlier 5000mAh, coupled with faster 33W charging as opposed to the previous 18W.

For pricing, the POCO M6 5G debuted at Rs 10,499 for the base 4GB + 128GB variant, while the Pro model starts at Rs 10,999 for the 4GB + 64GB version.
